Kaśka Szeszycka, Konrad Królikowski, Fullness-Accomplishment

FULLNESS – ACCOMPLISHMENT is a title of exhibition of Kaśka Szeszycka and Konrad Królikowski. Exhibition includes big dimention oil paintings, photographs presented as lightboxes and video screenings. All works shows the citisens and places in Rokita, settlement in Przybiernów borough, where Szeszycka lives. Part of exhibition are authors commentaries. Home – world you outgrow and then you come back there. Youth nature and culture. Social promotion, pragmatism and nihilism and grotesque. Anthropology and surrealism. There are much more notions helpfull in reading the contents of exhibition. Multidimentionality and intentional FULLNESS are pointed out in the title. But it refers also to sugestive and overwhelming message gained from the connected and cooperating media. Exhibition is like a journey and moving around dream place. Separate, interesting strand is a relation between painting and photography. Paintings presented on the exhibition are based on photographs, which are then inspired by painting art or even imitate paintings.
Aponymous ACCOMPLISHMENT points the end of a period of time, almost one year of collecting materials, preparing and conceptualisation. It’s a polemic with a term of a project and it’s ubiquitous organisation-prosedure connotations. It’s a culmination.
